No more status updates for Xbox LiveJanuary 13, 2008 @10:01PM by StaggsWe last updated that Xbox Live was facing outages and the team was doing their best to ease the pain and fix the problems. In the meantime, they were posting updates on the status of the service. Now however, a class-action lawsuit for Microsoft has come into play from the citizens of Texas, which resulted after the outages occurred, has created a halt on these updates. Due to the lawsuits, Microsoft is obligated to keep their mouths shut on updates about the health of Xbox Live, and whether it is fixed or being close to fixed. More updates on this soon...

Tip #14When you leave your play-and-charge kit connected to your controller, and turn the Xbox 360 off, the system goes into a stand-by mode where low power is used, and fans stay on until your controller is finished recharging. When that happens, your Xbox 360 turns off the fans, but maintains the low-power mode. So really, your Xbox 360 is never off if you have your play-and-charge kit in.
